When I was driving around the Mississippi Delta last week, I had B.B. King's Bluesville on pretty much the whole time. It was all rootsy goodness, but there was this one guy, Johnny Winter, who knocked me out of my driver's seat every time he came on the air. He was like a bat out of hell: raw, unfiltered, explosive, with bad-ass guitar licks to boot. Turns out Winter is a 65 year old white dude from Texas who's been mixing blues and rock since the late 60's. (He even played Woodstock.)
Imagine my excitement when I heard Winter was taking up a residency at B.B. King's this month, playing three consecutive Mondays. I'll be there this upcoming Monday, with soul legend William Bell opening with G.E. Smith and the Uptown Horns. And, you can be there, too! Just answer the following question, and I'll send a pair of tickets your way.
What two highways make up The Crossroads, where Robert Johnson reputedly made his deal with the devil, outside Clarksdale, MS?
Good luck!

Highway 61 and Highway 49. Maybe if I go there I can make the same deal?
