Myk Freedman’s Saint Dirt Elementary School came all the way down from Toronto to play Barbes Wednesday night for the latest installment of Stochastic Brooklyn. It was big band jazz: some composed, some not, mostly sounding like a record playing at the wrong speed. Not that that’s a bad thing, not at all. Extra props to the Melodica player.
