For once, I don't have show plans for tonight, so I'll be catching up on some errands at home while the
Whitney Houston Memorial Tribute – er, The GRAMMYS – plays in the background. (Hopefully, they won't completely forget about
Amy or
Etta tonight.) The
GRAMMY website has been running live video for a few hours now, showing everyone from Taylor Swift to Joyce DiDonato win their pre-show awards. (Kudos to
Eighth Blackbird, who won for their Steve Mackey album, and the
Met, which won for
Doctor Atomic.) The CBS telecast starts up at 8p; we'll be on Twitter (@feastofmusic) with updates throughout the night.
