I'm flying to Seattle tonight, where my friend Pat tells me their Occupy Wall Street protest has caught on in a major way, as it has in D.C., Boston, Chicago, and cities all across the country. So, I decided to head back down to Zuccotti Park today on my lunch hour, where the original protest is still going strong in its 4th week. Its a bit colder, a bit dirtier, but spirits are high, thanks in no small part to the drum circles, harmonica players, and string bands singing protest songs full of anger, frustration – and hope for a better tomorrow.
