SubCulture's First Annual Holiday Concert Series kicks off tomorrow night: a week of exclusive cross-genre seasonal concerts highlighting an eclectic crew of notable New York artists.

Wednesday's shows feature award-winning jazz vocalist Peter Eldridge, backed by SubCulture's "holiday house band," a specially assembled group of New York's finest emerging young artists—including Laila Biali and Jo Lawry (vocals), Steve Elliott (guitar), Alan Hampton (bass), Gregg Kallor (piano), and Ben Wittman (percussion).

Can't make it out on a weeknight? No sweat. Guest artists for the weekend include award-winning vocalists Sachal Vasandani and Kate McGarry, as well as reggae-inspired cellist Dave Eggar.

Can't find a sitter? Bring the family. SubCulture will be handing out sleigh bells to all the kids at the early shows and serving hot chocolate all night long.
