Guest conductor Pierre Vallet returns to the Greenwich Village Orchestra on Sunday, February 9, at 3:00 p.m. at Washington Irving Auditorium for an diverse program of of works. Mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke (above) joins the orchestra for Ravel's exotic song cycle Sheherezade, alongside excerpts from Berlioz's La Damnation de Faust and Brahms's Fourth Symphony.

They do like their Brahms at the GVO, so this should be an excellent showcase for the orchestra. Additional info and tickets available here.
