Continuing their ongoing exploration of contemporary music and dance, tonight's installment of the Ear Heart Music series at Roulette features the debut of the Ear Heart Music Ensemble performing a program of winter-themed pieces with Brooklyn-based dance company skybetter and associates.
Included on the program are Karen Tanaka's Frozen Horizon; Jóhann Jóhannsson's Englabörn; Quasi una Fantasia, String Quartet No. 2, by Henryk Górecki; and the New York premiere of Eveningland, featuring selections from David Lang's Pulitzer Prize-winning The Little Match Girl Passion.
