For the first time, FoM participated in the fourth-annual New Music Bake Sale: the delightfully dorky, sweetly sincere gathering of composers, musicians, and fans of adventurous music at Roulette. The seven-hour marathon featured sets by Guardian Alien, Melissa Hughes, Claire Chase, and others, along with all the beer and baked goods you could throw down your gullet.
I had the chance to catch up with lots of old friends, and made lots of new ones before Z's finally brought the house down around 11PM. Anybody want some leftover sheet cake?
