Tonight, Consider the Source brings their unique "Sci-Fi Middle Eastern Funk" to Sullivan Hall. This should be a special show for a number of reasons, starting out with the band's local roots. Every time the band comes back home to New York, they always put on an incredible show: during their opening slot for Victor Wooten in June 2010 at the Highline Ballroom, they ended their set with "Ol' Chomper," which absolutely tore the roof off of the place (a video from that show can be seen here).
The Stomping Ground has been tagged as the opener with their own unique Middle Eastern sound, describing themselves as "Balkan Fusion," the band draws its influences from bands such as Primus and Turbine. Tickets are still available here.
