After a piano recital, a gamelan concert, and a performance by The Books, you could either: a) Go to bed or b) Attend Blue Dot: an all-night art party featuring DJ's, installations by local artists, and live performances. Naturally, I chose the latter. At midnight, three locals performed Gordon Monahan's "Swinging Speakers," with Monahan's music altered via Doppler effect, enhanced by the incandescent and strobe lights attached to te end of their ropes.
