Supporting his most recent album, The Impostor, Bela Fleck performed new music for banjo and string quartet with Brooklyn Rider in an intimate setting last Sunday at (le) Poisson Rouge. A sense of awe took over the evening, and during certain numbers performed by Bela alone, not only was the audience enamored with his talent, but Brooklyn Rider seemed to be amazed that they were even sharing the stage with the banjo great.
