Seven years ago today, Feast of Music was launched with a review of—of all things—the Minnesota Orchestra at Carnegie Hall with Osmo Vänskä. (I liked it.) Back then, FoM was a one-man operation, and, to put it charitably, a bit rough around the edges. Nearly 2,600 posts later, we now have a dozen writers and photographers and a core team of editors who work their butts off every day to bring you the broadest, most insightful music coverage in New York. I'm proud of what we've achieved, and look forward to an even bigger and brighter future, with or without a horse.
Keep up with us here, on Twitter (@feastofmusic), on Facebook, and on Flickr.
