The 27th annual Bang on a Can Marathon takes place this Sunday once again at the World Financial Center Wintergarden, featuring performances from a variety of ensembles spanning the music spectrum. This year, there's a particular focus on vocal music, with Anonymous 4, Roomful of Teeth, Meredith Monk and Theo Bleckmann all making appearances during the eight hour event. And, of course, the Bang on a Can All Stars will be on hand to perform music by Louis Andriessen, Paula Matthusen, JG Thirwell and BOAC Co-Founder Julia Wolfe. Oh, and it's free.
