When I started Feast of Music a little under two months ago, I really had no knowledge of the New York Music blogosphere, other than Alex Ross’ The Rest is Noise, Sandow, and Steve Smith’s Night after Night. Since then, I’ve been pleased to discover several more excellent blogs on the beat, including Bruce Hodges’ Monotnous Forest, Felsenmusick by Brooklyn composer Daniel Felsenfeld, and Cafe Aman by Billboard’s classical music columnist, Anastasia Tsioulcas. Maybe between all of us, we might be able to capture 10-15% of the music happenings in NYC on any given night…
