I was on my way to work last year when I came across a lady playing a saw by the bus station on the upper west side. There were posters around saying she was part of Make Music NY and that she was the ‘Saw Lady’. It was very cool. I checked her out on line (http://www.sawlady.com/blog ).
I think Make Music NY is nice. Though in NYC every day is a make music day thanks to all the musicians in the subway and parks, don’t you think?
