This Ain’t No Fantasia

Believe it or not, I'm in Florida this weekend for a family reunion at – yes – Walt Disney World. There's not much music to speak of here, but there are diversions such as Mickey's PhilharMagic: a 4-D movie (they spray real wind and water) shown in a concert hall-like theater, complete with candelabra and a golden proscenium. Daffy Duck and Mickey Mouse taking turns conducting an animated orchestra until Daffy falls into a worm hole, after which it becomes a predictable montage of Disney movie musicals. But hey, what do you want from a theme park? If you want a real Disney Concert Hall, go to L.A.This Ain't No Fantasia
