I'm sure Jakob Dylan is very much his own man, but when he appears onstage with a bunch of guys in dark suits and starts singing twangy roots rock, the spectre of his famous father looms large. (Even his voice has grown that rough-hewn rattle.) Not that that's a bad thing.
