I've heard a fair amount of buzz about San Diego's The Muslims, so was pleasantly surprised to see them on tonight's opening slot at Bowery Ballroom. An ecstatic wail of 60's surf, the kind you find yourself bouncing your head to halfway through. Is it me, or does that drummer look like a young Hunter S.?
