After hanging out in the Old Can Factory courtyard for several hours listening to live performances by Joan LaBarbara and others, I wandered upstairs to Issue Project Room's 3rd floor space, where I was assaulted by a blast of live and computer music, with video projections floating across the walls. Turns out it was this open jam called SHARE, which happens every Sunday from 8p-midnight. In addition to a battery of laptops, there were two pianos, a flute, guitar, drums, and an astonishing French girl who sang trance-like vocalise. Talk about a session for the 21st century.
