Violins En Plein Air

I'm walking past the Parc des Ameriques – locale of yesterday's Fringe Pop show – when I hear a pair of violins playing the Pachelbel Canon. I stop in, and there are maybe half- a-dozen people scattered about, watching a pair of young musicians from the Montreal Chamber Music Festival play a mix of classical, folk and spirituals. Fringe organizers sell coffee and croissants for $1; beer (for those who need it) is $4. The sky may be cloudy, but down here, its all sunny and warm. (More pics below.)IMG00122.jpg
