FoM Presents – Getting There, etc.

BannerFor all those who have never been to Littlefield, or don't make a habit of traveling to Park Slope on a Thursday night (or any night of the week), guess what? You're venturing to The Best Place to Live in NYC, according to New York Magazine! (Well, Littlefield is technically in Gowanus, but close enough…)

Getting to Littlefield from Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn is easy! Just take the M/N/Q/R/B/D/2/3/4/5 to Atlantic/Pacific, and walk south on 4th Avenue 8 blocks to Degraw Street. Or, if you prefer, take the M/R one stop south to Union Street and walk two blocks north on 4th Ave. to Degraw. The venue is at 622 Degraw St., between 3rd and 4th Ave, on the South Side of the street (look for the sandwich board with fun tube lights around it.) Google can help you with directions.

Special thanks to all the fellow music advocates out there who have taken the time to mention this Thursday's event in their various venues -  not the least of whom is Alex Ross, who mentioned the event on his blog. Thanks Alex!

Oh, and speaking of the Slope, there's this from a prominent local site with the initials FIPS. Momma would be so proud.
