There's been plenty of chatter about the business implications of Iceland's volcanic eruption, which has shut down airports all throughout Europe due to the danger of volcanic ash getting into jet engines. But, the disaster has also wreaked havoc in the music world, with musicians having to cancel concerts all over the world. (Both Nico and Matthias Pintscher had scheduled gigs in Europe tonight.) One would think these guys could figure out some way to play while they're stuck here – and you'd think our otherwise-empty concert venues would be happy to have them. No doubt the indie world has been far more resilient and resourceful.
