Legendary Seattle post-punk outfit Murder City Devils tore up the Williamsburg Waterfront yesterday with a set that was even more searing than the hot Sunday sun. A huge mosh pit opened up in front of the stage, thrashing to the infectious mix of roaring guitars, old school Casio, and Spencer Moody's superhuman vocals. Opening were local outfit Obits, who played to a half-empty stage audience; unfortunately, I didn't make it to see either Jeff the Bortherhood or Silverghost – feel free to share your impressions.
