Tanglewood Sunset

Tanglewood was a much happier place about an hour ago, when they closed the gates and cleared the grounds to all but those who had tickets to see the Silk Road Ensemble tonight. It was quiet, peaceful, serene with the sun setting over the mountains. Now, I'm being forced to listen to Brahmins misuse phrases like "Cinema Verite" or "Terrific value." Thank God the bartender in the Tent Club is a straight shooter – might just have time for another.

A couple of notable improvements at Tanglewood this summer. For one, recycling bins have now been placed next to the traditional wooden dumpsters throughout the lawn, perfect for all those bottles of Rose and Sancerre. And, there are now "Designated Smoking Areas" to keep folks from puffing up in the midst of everyone's brie. Good times.
