I've heard about Berlin composer/producer/pianist Hauschka for awhile now, but never had the chance to see him play until today's Sonar Day session. Basically, this is musique concrete, using prepared piano, percussion and a variety of electronics to create sounds capes of soaring grandeur. Its also very pretty, in a sad sort of way.
