Make Music Winter is Tomorrow

Picture1The folks that brought us Make Music New York – held each year on the Summer Solstice – have decided to celebrate tomorrow's Winter Solstice with the first annual Make Music Winter: a series of musical 12 parades through various neighborhoods in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Taking a page from Phil Kline's Unsilent Night, which marched through the East Village this past Saturday for the 20th annual year, tomorrow's party will feature everything from Egyptian music in Queens, to a soundwalk on the Highline, to Phil Kline's new composition, Peregrine, which marches through Park Slope
