Two weekends from now, Superfly Presents—the folks that brought you Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and all those cool afterparties at this weekend's JazzFest—are bringing their first-ever festival to NYC with the food/wine/music extravaganza The Great GoogaMooga, in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Taking over the Nethermead on May 19 and 20, there will be 75 food vendors, 35 brewers, 30 winemakers and more than 20 live performances. In this increasingly foodie town, (“Food,” said one critic, “is the new rock”) the event sounds like a winner.
Unfortunately, all of the free GA passes are gone, but you can still buy an all-inclusive ExtraMooga pass for $250 each day. More details on the website.
