Watermelon, Kwame Darko, Duane Howard, and Harmonic Blue at Sullivan Hall

After seeing the funky soul-rock band Watermelon win over a puzzlingly small crowd at this year’s Summer in the City festival a few months back, I knew I would be seeing them again soon. Well, that happened sooner than expected, as the group headlined Sullivan Hall in the West Village Friday night and brought a few friends along, namely Kwame Darko, Duane Howard, and Harmonic Blue.
