The Siren Festival may be no more, but the Village Voice has returned this year with a new free festival for all of you who were sick of making the schlep to Coney Island. The inaugural 4Knots Music Festival is kicking off right about now at the South Street Seaport with music from The Black Angels, Titus Andronicus, Oberhofer, Davila 666 and the Fiery Furnaces' Eleanor Friedberger, among others. (The website is a bit lacking in info, such as who goes on when.) And, if you need to get out of the heat on this bright blue day, there are DJ sets at 210 Front Street from familiar faces such as Yeasayer, Dan Deacon and BRAHMS (the band, not this guy.) I'll see you there.
